Jazz Dynamos are a five-piece London-based band bringing fresh energy to modern jazz. They take well-known songs from the 1970s and 1980s and reshape them through bold, contemporary jazz arrangements. Familiar melodies take unexpected turns, with shifts in rhythm, feel, and structure. The result feels surprising, playful, and deeply musical.

The band has built a strong reputation through sold-out shows at leading venues including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, PizzaExpress Jazz Club, and the Royal Albert Hall, performing in the Elgar Room. Festival appearances span the UK and Europe, with highlights including EFG London Jazz Festival, Henley Festival, Pub in the Park, and international dates in France, Sweden, Italy, Norway, and Bulgaria.

What sets Jazz Dynamos apart is their ability to take songs everyone knows and present them in ways audiences do not expect. Tempos shift. Grooves change. Time signatures twist. The spirit of the original stays intact, while the music moves somewhere new. This creates a live experience full of moments where recognition meets surprise.

Expect sharp musicianship, strong interplay, and a set full of character. Jazz Dynamos deliver modern jazz with humour, warmth, and plenty of edge. Book early and catch a band who know how to turn the familiar into something special.
