Stained Glass Witch Hanging Workshop – Get into the Halloween spirit with a magical afternoon of stained glass making. Join stained glass artist Katie Lambert for a creative and hands-on workshop where you’ll craft your very own colourful stained glass witch hanging to display at home every spooky season.
Whether you’re a Halloween enthusiast, curious about learning stained glass techniques, or simply looking for a fun and creative experience, this workshop is the perfect way to spend an afternoon immersed in making something unique. Suitable for complete beginners and experienced crafters alike, you’ll be guided through every stage of the process.
🧙 What You’ll Make
Using the traditional Tiffany (copper foil) stained glass technique, you’ll create a charming witch decoration complete with hat, broomstick and plenty of character. Choose from a stunning selection of coloured glass to make your witch truly your own, whether you prefer classic Halloween colours or something a little more whimsical.
Katie will guide you through cutting, shaping, foiling and soldering your glass pieces, helping you build confidence with each step. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a beautiful handcrafted stained glass witch ready to hang in a window where the light can shine through and bring her to life.
This workshop provides a relaxed and friendly environment where you’ll learn new skills, meet fellow makers and create a decoration you’ll enjoy bringing out year after year.
Katie Lambert has been teaching stained glass across the South East, London and East Anglia for over a decade. Her studio is based on a travelling barge, where she creates work inspired by 1960s counterculture, filled with psychedelic colour and playful designs. Her workshops at Southern Maltings are always popular, with participants praising her welcoming teaching style and the satisfaction of creating beautiful handmade pieces.
“My son and I attended the stained glass workshop today and we are both so happy to have attended. Loved our day and the end results of our hard work.”
