Steelpan Fusion
Doors 7:30pm | Tickets £15 advance, £18 on the door
Get ready for an electrifying night of rhythm, groove and pure Caribbean‑inspired energy as Steelpan Fusion, who have previously played at London’s Jazz Café, Pizza Express Live and Karamel, bring their unmistakable sound to Southern Maltings.
Led by the phenomenal talents of Wade Austin and his powerhouse band, Steelpan Fusion blend the warm, melodic shimmer of the steel pan with keys, bass, drums, and soulful vocals to create a sound that’s vibrant, contemporary and utterly irresistible. Expect a dynamic mix of Calypso, Soca, jazz, funk and modern grooves — all delivered with the band’s trademark flair and infectious stage presence.
This is live music that lifts the spirit, moves the body, and fills the room with sunshine. Whether you’re a long‑time fan of steel pan or discovering it for the first time, this performance promises a night of joy, rhythm, and world‑class musicianship.
Come and experience the magic of Steelpan Fusion — a band that celebrates tradition while pushing the boundaries of what steel pan can do.
The event is being held on the first floor of the Southern Maltings building. Please check with the event organisers if using stairs is problematic.
