Jazz at Southern Maltings – Andrea Vicari
Doors open at 2:30pm, with music from 3:00-5:00pm.
Andrea is a performer, composer and leading UK jazz educator. She teaches as a senior lecturer at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Her work spans major festivals including Brecon, Ronnie Scott’s Piano Trio Festival, Glastonbury, the Maritime Silk Road Festival in China and Liburnia in Croatia. She has seven albums in her own name plus contributions to projects including Round Trip, East and West with Jazz Extempore and The Vortex Foundation Big Band.
Andrea also presents a weekly radio programme, Andrea Vicari’s Jazz Doodles, on Jazz London Radio. Each show features interviews with respected jazz artists such as John Taylor, Hiromi, Bill Stewart, Marc Copland, John Abercrombie, Larry Goldings, Bill Laurance, Omar Puente, Joe Stilgoe and Bobo Stenson.

Tickets £17 on the door (if available). £14 in advance. FREE entry for children under 16 if accompanied by an adult.
The event is being held on the first floor of the Southern Maltings building. Please check with the event organisers if using stairs is problematic.
