A storytelling show for adults.
At the Southern Maltings ‘tavern’ our storyteller overhears seafarers telling tales of the sea – but who exactly is this teller and what stories will she share?
Written for adults, this performance contains themes of identity, the sea, parenting, change, personal development, acceptance, belonging & myth. Expect modern re-imagining of age-old legends, performed in a dynamic and characterful way, original writing and performance poetry. A Q&A follows this performance.
‘Fluid’ is written and performed by local professional writer and performer Vickie Holden (www.thelisteninn.co.uk), whose work has been warmly received in theatres, festivals and at cultural events across East Anglia and beyond, including recently at University of Hertfordshire, Kenneth More Theatre and Chelmsford Theatre.

This event is in the Upstairs Function Room.
The event is being held on the first floor of the Southern Maltings building. Please check with the event organisers if using stairs is problematic.
