Award-winning vocalist Sarah Ellen Hughes brings her incredible talent to Jazz @ Southern Maltings in what promises to be an unforgettable performance. Known for her swinging interpretations of jazz standards, Sarah’s unique style blends technical mastery with heartfelt connection. Her accolades include winning the 2010 Jazz Voices competition and being a semi-finalist at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival, marking her as a standout talent on the international jazz stage.
Sarah will be joined by her quartet, featuring some of the finest musicians in the UK jazz scene. As a local artist with roots in the area, this event carries a special resonance, celebrating both her outstanding artistry and her connection to the community. The event is being held on the first floor of the Southern Maltings building. Please check with the event organisers if using stairs is problematic.
